RTPI Evening Event

The Royal Town Planning Institute in Scotland marks the 150th anniversary of Patrick Geddes's birth in Ballater by video conferencing
a lecture on PG and his place in modern planning by Sir Jonathon Porritt (Chair, UK Sustainable Development Commission) given at
the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, to an audience at the Craigendarroch Hotel, Ballater.

Mary Mulligan MSP provides a profile of Patrick Geddes and introduces Sir Jonathon Porritt. The audience includes Graham King (Ballater end Guest Speaker - all the way from Swansea, Wales nearest, red tie) who gave an overview of PG and interviewed Tom Potter, Geddes relation on the video link to Edinburgh. Local filming and cameras to Edinburgh. Sir Jonathon Porritt delivers his lecture.
