	A Tourism and Community Development Company with charitable status acting as an enabling, marketing and coordinating body for visitors to, and the local community of, Ballater and Royal Deeside. Our aims are to create and sustain a village where through local voluntary effort visitors and locals alike can enjoy the heritage, history and natural beauty of the area. There are a number of projects where Ballater Royal Deeside are playing a key co-ordinating and sponsoring role. Some of these are :

Administered by Ballater (RD) Ltd. on behalf of the Royal Deeside Partnership History With Boots On Identify, label and create access to pre-historic and historic sites. (History). Administered by Ballater (RD) Ltd. on behalf of the Royal Deeside Partnership Community Transport Provision of community bus services in Mid and Upper Deeside. Ballater Geddes Project 2004 Project to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sir Patrick Geddes (Patrick Geddes).

	Ballater as a visitor attraction is featured on the World Wide Web giving details of the various quality facilities available including our famous Victoria Week & Ballater Highland Games held in the August.
